Sorry to hear that – free communications book

A free book called Sorry to hear that is available on March 23rd and March 24th. There’s a lot of dialogue as it’s a book about Communications.

 

For example:

“Well, this is nice,” said Sheila trying to start a conversation.

There was silence. Just the sound of tapping fingers and munching on pizzas.

Sheila continued “It’s nice to do something together as a family for once. Not many families do this you know. They rarely eat together. They’re always on the go and hardly see each other. We’re bonding I believe it’s called.”

Simon and Matthew were giggling separately but at the same thing.

Suddenly Walter spoke and sounded irritated “Oh no – that’s not fair.”

“What’s the matter?” asked Sheila.

“Tom Shields is still at the office and is sending out emails to everyone about the annual accounts. He says there’s a problem with them.”

“Who’s Tom Shields?”

“He’s the new corporate controller and he’s trying to curry favour with the CEO by staying late and showing off by trying to cause problems for the other people he perceives as threats to his rise to the top.”
