City of Leicester resident wins title

OK, that title is pushing things slightly, but Richard III is in Leicester and he has come top, again, in BBC History Magazine’s History Hot 100.  Richard III remains the most fascinating figure in the eyes of historians and the public, although whether he’s villainous – or misunderstood – is open to debate.
