The next recommendation is the Secession building near Karlsplatz with its golden dome. The only exhibit is the 34-metre long Beethoven frieze by Klimt depicting humankind’s search for happiness. The cost is 6 Euros and payment can be made by credit card. The frieze is beautiful and the room is air-conditioned – a welcome relief in the recent 33 degrees Centigrade temperatures.
