Arriving at the main train station in Vienna – the Hauptbahnhof – it is important to know that there is an underground line (U1) at Sudtirolerplatz allowing the visitor access to the underground system. You can also buy 24-hour, 48-hour, and 72-hour passes for all the public transport system. The 24-hour pass cost 7.20 Euros on June 23rd, 2016.
