On Day 3 I visited Loughborough with its Bell Foundry and Great Central Railway station where visitors can catch steam trains down to Leicester.
The 152-foot high carillon tower in Queen’s Park houses a museum including military medals and details of the Zeppelin raid on 31st January 1916. In this park, there’s a memorial to those who died during the Covid epidemic and the Charnwood Museum.
