Berne is the capital of Switzerland and it takes twenty-three minutes on the train from Fribourg to get here. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and by the sound of it, receives many visitors from all around the world. The main outdoor attractions are the fountains and the clock towers. The streets are busy with trams, trolley-buses, and cyclists as well as a few cars. The main railway station is to the west of the old town.
