A change of country today as I travelled the short distance to Konstanz on The Bodensee in Germany. There’s no formal border crossing to undertake as both Switzerland and Germany are in the Schengen area.
The Bodensee is the River Rhine and the lake appears quite full. There were many people enjoying water sports as well as pleasure cruisers moving around the lake.
I looked around the old town and enjoyed the churches especially St Stephan and St Konrad. I was also pleased to find Katzgasse with the wonderful, metallic sign of a black cat above the door of the Haus zur Katz.
